Welcome to Wheelbarrow Orchards, located on 10 Sideroad, east of Hwy #25, just north of Milton, Ontario. We are an old fashioned, 55 acre pick your own apple orchard beautifully nestled in the Niagara Escarpment, within Ontario’s Greenbelt.

Crop and Picking Schedule update Sept 20th 2011

Friends, Loyal Customers and Visitors:

We are almost picked out.

The combination of a light crop due to the wet spring during pollination and 3 busy weekends already this year has left us with a bare orchard. Our pick-your-own trees are bare of Gala, Cortland and Honey Crisp and we are almost picked out of Macs.

Spartans, Mutsu and Golden Delicious will be available this weekend Sept 24th & 25th

A limited amount of Red Delicious and Spys will be available Oct 1st and 2nd.

The Good News

The market will be open every weekend thru Sept and October till Halloween.

We are currently working with other local growers to have ready picked Mac’s, Gala and Honeycrisp for sale in the Market.

We are committed to our valued Honeycrisp customers to have Honeycrisp available every weekend.

Fresh pressed Cider and Pies from Wheelbarrow Orchards Apples Squash, Pumpkins and Gourds Fall Décor including planters, cornstalks and mini straw bales Harvest Goodies products including, Salad Dressings, Jams, Salsa’s, Mustards, Red Pepper Jelly, and more.

Wheelbarrow Orchards is excited to let our customers know we are growing to fulfill your need for great local apples.

For next years Harvest we will have over 300 new trees in production, including Gala, Cortland, Mutsu, Golden Delicious and Empire.
